Professional services may include:

Telephone Intake - A toll free intake service will be provided on a 24hr a day, 7 day a week basis for use by all eligible employees and their families.

Therapy/Counseling - Unlimited counseling will be provided for problems arising in the following areas (unlimited counseling is defined as short-term, solution-focused intervention therapy that would maximize at 10-12 sessions with a personal counselor per problem):

 -Alcohol and drug abuse/addictions  -Stress Management
 -Depression/anxiety  -Single parent problems
 -Marriage/family problems  -Grief/Trauma
 -Other problems as identified  -Critical Incident Counseling

Health Information Centre - Medical Library services covering disease and health info, drug, herbal and alternative therapy information.

Financial counseling - Pertaining to any financial difficulties being experienced by the employee or family member.

Legal consultation - Delivers access to a legal expert in the field of your concern for the first consultation only for the employee or family member on any issue that will impact on the employee's work performance.

Eldercare services - Provides help through telephone consulting as well as providing various publications and referrals to appropriate community resources.

Day Care Referral - Provides information on available centres and will include telephone support as may be necessary.
